I am Leonard and after being an Au Pair in France I will start to study in the Netherlands in August. But before doing that I plan to go Interrailing with a mate from 15.06-29.06 in Spain and Italy. I am an open-minded and always positive guy with a an easy-going personality.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I am a passionate traveller but I am not primarily interested in 'just' finding an accommodation. It's more that I would like to get impressions of one's culture from firsthand.
I want to explore cities or regions from a local perspective. Having someone who teaches me the essence of their country, would make me feel at home and not simply as a tourist. That is priceless .

Interests

I am interesting in music, politics, arts, culture and lots of other stuff, too.
But most importantly I am interested in getting to know new people !

Music, Movies, and Books

I read a lot, but the books I most enjoyed reading were probably: The Stranger, The Picture of Dorian Gray, The Wind in the Willows.
I also like going to the cinema and my favorite films are Mr Nobody, Little Miss Sunshine, Into the Wild and Waltz with Bashir. When it comes to music I mostly listen to Indie.
