Music, Movies, and Books
Books: I read a lot of popular science books to make up for majoring in English at university. Steven Pinker (my intellectual godfather), Richard Dawkins and Carl Sagan are my favourite science writers. I also subscribe to The Economist, like any sophisticated young man (I hope the tongue-in-cheek is detectable in that last clause).

Movies: City of God is thrilling. Tarantino's stuff is mostly awesome. Before Sunrise, Before Sunset and Before Midnight slayed me. Eternal Sunshine of the Spotless Mind and Vanilla Sky are pretty. Godfather 1 and 2 are the greatest. I like indie movies, too. If you thought The Room was funny, we'll probably get along.
TV: Louie, Nathan For You, South Park, Master of None, Hello Ladies. Also the standard brilliant dramas that everyone else likes (you know the ones I'm referring to). I should also mention that I'm a Level-10 Seinfeld fan and that seasons 2-9 of the Simpsons will always have a special place in my heart. Friends is a bit of a guilty pleasure. If you know why I feel guilty about it, let me know.
