ABOUT ME
Hi everybody.
We are a dutch-spanish couple and we live together in Zaragoza in Spain. We like to travel alot (with our backpack) and it's great to meet people along the way. And we also would like everybody that want to go to Zaragoza so we could show some of the real Spain.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE
During our trip in Asia we met people from Malasia in Vietnam. One invited us to stay at his house when we would be in Malaysia.
Two months later we were close to his town and we contacted him. He invited us and we stayed a couple of days at his house. And these days we some of the best of our trip, because being with locals is the most fun and the best way to understand and enjoy a country.
Now, a few years later, we stil have contact (along with other people we met there) and we became good friends.
So, when we found out about CouchSurfing we enrolled directly and we hope we can meet alot of great people. :)
6 oct 2007 we had our first experience at couchsurfing. We stayed in Washington DC with Carlos. It was really great and we met alot of great people.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
So much, because we backpacked though China and S.E. Asia, and later we couchsurfed our way through the USA and Mexico. Here some highlight:
- Ending up in a newspaper in China
- Bustrip in Laos from Salavan to Tatlo (85 km through the jungle... 10 hours!)
- Christmas eve on the beach in Thailand and New year in Bangkok
- Thaipusum in Kuala Lumpur
- Flying in a small plane over the desert in Namibia
- Thanksgiving in Toronto, CA
- Halloween in LA
- Cuatro cienegas in north Mexico
- Week at Mazunte
- Traveling through Myanmar during "elections"
But the best was to meet al those friendly people, who made our trips unforgetable!
...not so amazing: watching with my Spanish friends in Spain how Holland lost the worldcup against... Spain. :(
