I am a freelance filmmaker from La Paz, Baja California Sur, and also work on issues related to renewable energy and sustainability. In 2007 I moved to Mexico City to study and live here ever since. In recent years I have been traveling a lot around Mexico. Outside my country I haven't had much travel, except for Costa Rica in 2014, although I'm always on the lookout for the next trip.

Soy un cineasta freelance de La Paz, Baja California Sur y trabajo en temas relacionados con las energías renovables y la sustentabilidad. En 2007 me mudé a la Ciudad de México para estudiar y vivo aquí desde entonces. En los últimos años he podido viajar mucho por México y conocerlo mejor. Fuera de México no he vuelto a viajar tanto, salvo por Costa Rica en 2014, aunque siempre estoy a la expectativa del próximo viaje.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

Leo's Moving Apartment is what I call my home, honoring the film Howl's Moving Castle and because I've lived in many different places. I've always given shelter to people who are passing through the city, both old friends and new. I think couchsurfing is a great tool for travelers and what better way to be part of it than receiving or being received.

El Increíble Departamento Vagabundo es como llamo a mi casa, en honor a la película El Increíble Castillo Vagabundo y porque he vivido en muchos sitios distintos. Siempre he dado alojamiento a personas que vienen de paso por la ciudad, tanto a viejos amigos como a nuevos. Pienso que el couchsurfing es una gran herramienta para los viajeros y qué mejor manera de formar parte de ello que recibiendo o siendo recibido.

Interests

Perhaps needless to say, but I'm a heavy movie buff. I also enjoy traveling, road trips above all; reading, walks, cooking, drinking coffee, a good rum or a cold beer and I'm a music lover... a Led Zeppelin lover.

Quizá sobra decirlo, pero soy un cinéfilo empedernido. También disfruto mucho viajar y conocer lugares y gente nueva; leer, paseos, cocinar, beber un café, un buen ron o una cerveza helada. También soy un amante de la música, de Led Zeppelin sobre todo.
