Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I grew up and have always lived in Rio de Janeiro until moving to Europe in 2015 to have an academic exchange experience. From that moment on, I discovered a real passion for travelling and meeting other people, cultures and places. Couchsurfing seems a way to reach these goals. :)

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

The decision to spend 6 months in the city of Porto, Portugal, in the context of an academic exchange. This experience made me more confident about myself and about doing things alone, since I left my country to live in another one where I had never been before, without knowing anybody and in a different culture. I had to face the challenge to learn things I had never done and deal with conditions not so familiar to me. Afterall, it was fantastic to leave this experience with lots of stories to tell, seven countries visited and so many good friends.

What I Can Share with Hosts

I really like to take things (doesn't mean material ones) from the persons I meet in this world, and, the same way, leave something with them. Whatever it is a talking, a moment outside, a laugh, a hug, a new word wich meaning I didn't know or just a nice moment. However, I can still cook, take good photographies or teach some Portuguese.
