Hey there, welcome to my profile! I’m a happy human living in Vienna, the most wonderful city.

I’m in love with fresh ginger tea, running and learning something new every day. I delight in visiting art exhibitions, reading poetry and going to the theaters, but I’m also frequently absorbed in daydreaming. I like (vegetarian) cooking, and though I am by no means a master chef, nobody ever complained about the meals I made them :).

I’m from Germany, but have been living in Austria for almost three years to study statistics at the University of Vienna. I find my studies very fulfilling and pursue them diligently, so you’ll find me studying at the library almost every day during the semester.

I try to approach the world around us kindly, be it towards other people or towards our natural environment, and I like making others smile. In recent years, I’ve been able to make great memories with some wonderful Couchsurfers and I’ll be thrilled to host many more of you travelers out there! My hope is to help make your trip here an amazing and memorable one!

• These past few weeks, I’ve been getting an overwhelming amount of couch requests (usually several per day). I’ve also been quite busy with university. Please do not let this discourage you from asking me, but just know that I may not be able to host all the time. I’d also like to apologize in advance if I don’t respond to your request.
• In your request, I kindly ask you to tell me your vaccination status against Covid-19. (I’m triply vaccinated myself.)

I’ll share plenty of kindness and smiles - and two open ears for your stories. Learning about your guys’ lives, opinions and thoughts, your cultures and personalities is what makes hosting such a pleasure to me.

Depending on my schedule, I’d happily spend time showing you around Vienna in the late afternoon to evening. I can give you a tour of the main sights or of lesser known parks and quarters. We can also go to some of my favorite cafés and restaurants, have a picnic (if the weather allows), or visit art exhibitions. Or you know, we can just hangout and talk.
