About Me
Hello! My name is Leonardo.
I frequently travel between Italy and the Netherlands for personal reasons. Originally from Argentina, I come from an Italian family and hold dual citizenship, with an Italian passport. I've been living in Europe since 2008 and currently reside in Italy.
For the past seven years, I lived in Hilversum, Netherlands, while working for a Dutch company. Over the last year, I transitioned to remote work, which has led me to seek temporary accommodations as I continue to travel.
A bit about me: I’m a calm, responsible senior graphic and UI designer. I appreciate quiet spaces that allow me to focus on my work. In my free time, I enjoy sports, yoga, meditation, and maintain a healthy lifestyle with an early-to-bed, early-to-rise routine. I don’t smoke, and I don’t have pets. I’m passionate about art, photography, and design, and my favorite writer is Eckhart Tolle. I love hiking, snowboarding, cycling in nature, and exploring local villages and towns.
Thank you in advance!
Best regards,
Leonardo
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
I find the concept of exchanging homes incredibly fascinating. It's a unique way to immerse oneself in different cultures while fostering a sense of trust and community. Not only does it make travel more affordable, but it also creates the opportunity to experience a destination like a local, building meaningful connections with people along the way. The idea of sharing spaces and stories with others is something that aligns with my values of openness and cultural exchange.
