Overview
About Me
I'm Leo, 24 years old, Berlin native and currently studying English and German to become a teacher. I work as a student assistant in the English didactics department at FU and have been a private English and German tutor for several years.
I'd describe myself as an outgoing introvert. I'm very approachable and make friends easily but I do value my alone time. I like to be in nature, get lost in thought and just enjoy life.

Music, Movies, and Books
I'm mostly into Goth music (tendency towards Darkwave, Deathrock and Gothic Rock) but I also enjoy other 80s music, new wave and electro or sythi pop.
I like Romantic literature and coming of age-novels, my favorite writers are Jeffrey Eugenides, Tom Robbins and Goethe.
My favorite film of all time will always be Amélie but I know it's a bad habit. Of course I also like Wes Anderson.
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
I used to be incredibly shy as a child and young adult but I somehow managed to pull myself out by my own hair by putting myself out there and pushing a little further each time.
Teach, Learn, Share
As I'm a teacher in the making, I am more than open to new experiences and to learning new things and I will hopefully provide the same in return.
One of my beliefs in life is that we never (or rather shouldn't) stop learning.
What I Can Share with Hosts
I offer a meticulously clean 2 bedroom apartment and I expect the same of you (or I will coerce you into obedience with progressively aggresive post-its and whatsapp reminders). Jokes aside, I do think that a certain level of cleanliness can be expected from both of us.
I live in a houseshare and both of us are out and about a lot. I can pretty much guarantee you'll have a proper bed to sleep in + a whole room of your own, as well as free use of the kitchen and bathroom.
It is possible to have friends or family over while you're here but please let us know in advance and be aware that we don't own any sleeping bags or extra bedding. As a downside to that, we do NOT allow parties. Our apartment complex is very much 60+ and you really do not want to disturb the neighborly peace, trust me.
The neighborhood I live in is about 20 minutes outside of the Ring (Südkreuz or Innsbrucker Platz) and has fairly good access to public transport but is by no means a "hip" area of Berlin. There are no bars or even Spätis (late night shops) in the entire area and it's pretty Grey Gardens too. But hey, the rent doesn't pay itself!
