"What goes around comes around" -- My take on couch surfing is that I always treat others how I wish to be treated. I graciously receive with the intent to give back.

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

My wife and I did a World Trip in 2012 for 6 months to test the waters of marriage and have fallen in love with traveling ever since. It has broadened our perspective of a wold "community" and we continue to build friendships abroad whenever possible.

What excites us the most about traveling is learning about culture and exchange, allowing us to give back in so many more ways than we could imagine. The CouchSurfing community has enriched our lives and allowed us to make such great friends around the world.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I believe that "home" is where the heart is and that when traveling the best moments are those in the company of others. I really enjoy being on the road and meeting new people. My most memorable experiences are with all the great friends I've made around the world in unexpected places showing just how there is to learn and share about the World around us. There's so many wonderful surprises!

Hobbies: biking, running, climbing, and going outdoors!

I love to cook and it's probably my favorite pass time. There is something exotic about the language of food and I really enjoy sharing it with others.

As an educator, every moment in life is a teachable moment: I enjoy being the teacher and the student at all occasions. There is always something new to learn and I think that's what excites me the most.
