I'm fascinated about the world around me. I love to travel independently and all the freedom and weird and quirky encounters that come out of basically not having much of a plan. I enjoy traveling through places that I'm unfamiliar with, places I don't know much about especially places other people don't know much about.

Often I'm traveling by bicycle as I believe it to be a much more rewarding form of transport. I get to see places one would normally miss on a bus or in a car. Experience the sights, smells, sounds and feelings from not being behind a pane of glass. I get to meet the friendly generous people who live in these lesser known places learning more about their culture and allowing me to share my own. On top of that it's the cheapest form of transport that gives most back to the people who live in these areas. Best of both worlds if you ask me.

I've just finished a volcanology internship in Colima Mexico working on the Colima Volcano. Now I'm travelling a bit in some other parts of Mexico and Guatemala.
