ABOUT ME

I look forward to live a peaceful life, surrounded by good music, food and nature. It’s not difficult to find me at the movies, at a concert, on the beach or in the kitchen making something new, most likely asian food, which I love. I’m a psychologist by background and my interests in the psychology area are mostly transversal: psychology + visual arts, psychology + anthropology, culture, history, etc. Nowadays I work in a psychology clinic, with an eye in a masters in Visual Arts and in the work with trans people. Sometimes I’m a DJ too.

Interests

I'm interested in the human behavior and its consequences to the social representation. I'm also a lover of Arts and the aesthetics theories, psychoanalysis and botany (nature in general).

Music, Movies, and Books

As a DJ I usually play house music, techno house and acid house. Besides that, I listen a lot of brazilian music, indie rock and folk.
French Cinema is my favorite, but I also like movies directed by Pedro Almodóvar, Hayao Miyazaki and Wes Anderson.
I like to read short stories, poetry, fantasy and scientific books and magazines. Portuguese poet Fernando Pessoa is by far my favorite writer.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

While in Iceland I visited millenarian glaciers and beaches covered by icebergs! Unforgettable for a brazilian guy like me.

Teach, Learn, Share

Due to my background in Psychology I learned how to respect and embrace one's differences and therefore I chose to live my life based on one's comprehension instead of making prejudgments. It's been a peaceful path.
