About Me
What is there to say really? I'm a 21 year old male who has always had a longing to travel the world. I'm friendly, easy-going, and very open-minded.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
I'm on couchsurfing because I don't believe in being a traditional tourist. I want to meet new people, and find things that only the locals would really know about. While it is inevitable at some point that I will have to stay at a hostel or the like, I would really like to use this travel time to get to know new people, and make some good friends along the way.
Interests
I have lots of interests. I like learning new things, playing video games, hiking, writing, singing, and playing the ocarina. Okay, so that's not a lot. However, on the other hand, that doesn't mean I'm not open to trying new things. I want to come near to the point of overloading myself with new experiences while I travel. Oh, and swimming. I absolutely love to swim, and at some point would like to try scuba diving.

Music, Movies, and Books
I am pretty fine with all kinds of music, but my favorite music is from bands like Within Temptation, and Nightwish. So the symphonic metal genre. But I do like Adam Lambert, Emilie Autumn, and I also have various other genres on my phone as well.
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
I'd like to think that my amazing thing is happening right now. The fact that I am going on this trip. That's a big deal to me, and I'd like to think that it happening to me is a great thing. If I had to pick something I've actually done though, I'd have to say that it would be probably Air Cadets. I got 3 awards in the 2 years that I was there, as well as 2 promotions. I participated in the drill team, and the biathlon team. I went to basic training camp, as well as a leadership camp my second year.
Teach, Learn, Share
Teach: I consider myself good with a computer, and I could teach you about a number of things there. I have a few recipies that I made up myself, that people have responded positively to that are cheap to make as well.
Learn: I am open to learning pretty much everything. Specifically, I want to learn Croatian, so I can finally speak to some of my friends in their native tongue.
Share: Not quite sure what to put here really, but I have a more positive outlook on life that I can share, as well as techniques I learned to help me get there.
What I Can Share with Hosts
I can share a great sense of humor, willingness to help around the house, and open-mindedness. I also have a good energy, that lends well to a variety of environments. I'm willing to go out and give pretty much any new activity a try, and when it comes to things like hiking, I may not be in that good of shape, but I'm willing to give it my all, and rarely not finish what I started. ^_^
