Overview
About Me
CURRENT MISSION
Travel the west coast of North America.
ABOUT ME
Born and raised in Ireland, Dublin City for the most part but I also lived in the Gaeltacht for a couple of years. 20 now and leaving the country to study in the States for a year. The prospect of moving to a new city (Seattle) where I know nobody both excites me greatly but also slightly frightens me.
PHILOSOPHY
At a young age I estimated the average life expectancy was less than 3 billion seconds, each fleeting. This finite ever decreasing number focuses and drives me to experience more.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING
Teaching and learning through language and culture. Always open to hosting, love hearing about other people's travel's and sharing stories from the road.
Interests
Competitive Sailor, Cycling, surfing, photography. Tend to be good at sports, probably because I didn't watch too much TV as a kid. Some of my favorite pass times include, running without headphones, cycling and hiking in the mountains, or anything that makes me feel free.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
Sailing on a clear night in the Atlantic, with no land on the horizon you can get a glimpse of the universe's scale for just a moment.
Teach, Learn, Share
Languages, cultures and cooking. I love teaching and passing on the skills I have. I consider myself to be a patient teacher, used to all ages from 8 to 70+. If I can do it, I can pass it on if you're interested.
