About Me

I'm a liberal arts student currently living in Maastricht. I've been travelling around Europe, North America and South-East Asia over the past few years, and look forward to getting back on the road when I am done with my studies. Thailand has a special place in my heart as I lived there a year as a teenager and have been back several times.
I am currently planning my next few years of traveling and I would be happy to learn about any travel experience you might have!

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I like meeting open-minded people, whether during my travels or when staying at home. I believe in the importance of solidarity and human contact and I want to support this community for believing in it too.

Interests

I love cooking and eating good food above all else. I've had quite a broad education in the social sciences so I'm happy to talk about anything from politics to sociology or economics, or just happy to talk in general. I play a bit of bass and I'm always down to jam.

Music, Movies, and Books

I'm a big sci-fi and fantasy fan, whether it's books or movies. Other than that I read books about traveling, sociology, economics, philosophy and other random topics.

Teach, Learn, Share

At the moment I am really interested to learn about gardening, permaculture, seedsaving, organic building and everything that has to do with sustainable living and self-sufficiency. Always interested to meet artists or artisan to learn about their art.
I can and would be happy to teach what I know about cooking, traveling on the cheap, sociology and sociolinguistics and anything else that might interest you.
