Constantly reinventing my life plan as circumstances demand, but think i've got the most important things as a constant hum. Love food. In all ways. Cooking eating or just talking about it - on a little mission to undo the terrible reputation of british food!

PHILOSOPHY

Vast, immense, spikey, overwhelmingly beautiful and wild but equally impenetrable. And it smells like coconut.

Music, the Bloomsbury Group, impetuous and spontaneous travelling, sweetcorn, french theory, gorse, sexuality, ice-skating, retro vaseline, pyjamas, radio 4, snailmail, sprouting, old-fashioned penguin books, soya milk, metaphysics, circadian rhythms, psychoanalysis, apples, people with interesting phds, critical theory, poppyseeds, carolingians, mustard and finding things that make my brain hurt like chess and counterpoint and the moon in my spoon.

Music, Movies, and Books

All sorts! From Brahms, Mendelssohn, some opera to Patrick Wolf, Regina Spektor, Leonard Cohen, Ben Folds, Joanna Newsom, Patti Smith, David Bowie. Also blues/bluegrass/folk and fiddling type fun. I'm on a mission to learn more/more about hip hop and i wish i knew more jazz, too.
