About Me

Hey guys! I'm Leo. I live in Tokyo where I teach kids who used to live abroad. I'm into music, movies, good food and all the essential spices of life, and always up for showing someone around town and introducing them to the best of central Japan. Send me a message if you need somewhere to stay, and I'm sure we can arrange something.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

Seems like a great way to meet new people and explore fun new places

Interests

I love music (hip hop, punk, metal, classical, etc; it's all amazing) and movies, plus consider myself an amateur ginger wine producer in my spare time. I love writing, good books, and basically everything. I like to consider myself an excellent conversationalist, and as I say, am just in love with meeting fun exciting people.

Music, Movies, and Books

Music: gotta say Kendrick Lamar lately, with some Public Enemy, some Ghostpoet, and then a handy helping of Daft Punk and/or the Yeah Yeah Yeahs/ Vampire Weekend. Anything that gets the crowds dancing and singing.

Movies: Anything by Kubrick or Gaspar Noe floats my boat pretty well! Star Wars and Lord of the Rings too, because life is too short not to love 'em.

Bookwise...Dostoevsky, Hunter S Thompson, Murakami. I'm good with anything good.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Moved to Japan at 22? I like to think that's still pretty exciting!

Teach, Learn, Share

Happy to teach some Japanese, Japanese cooking, new movies and music etc, anything really. Ask away!

Would ideally like to learn a bit of Spanish or just bits and pieces in any language. How to say hello/thank you/ goodbye in basically everything would be awesome.

What I Can Share with Hosts

My time and probably a great deal of affection for giving me somewhere to stay for the night? Let's talk and find out!

Countries I’ve Visited

France, Germany, Hong Kong, Italy, Japan, South Korea, Sri Lanka, Taiwan, Thailand, United States
