ABOUT ME

I am a yoga teacher living in beautiful Long Beach, CA. I'm very chill and easy going, I love meeting new friends and interacting with people. Travelling has always been of dream of mine since high school. Over the past 5 years I have been presented with the opportunities to finally stop dreaming and start seeing the world.. now I can't stop ;) I have learned that you don't need a lot of cash to go out and explore. I know how to travel on a budget. I also work(teach) abroad when I travel. I believe in karma and service to others. People in remote countries have been so good to me during my travels. It only makes sense to give back. let me know if you need a place to crash, I will do my best to be a great host.

PHILOSOPHY

guess you can say I'm a tree hugging hippie at heart. though I've never actually hugged a tree in my life ;)I was raised catholic, But now I consider myself a spiritualist. I believe our creator communicates to us everyday, we just need to tune in. church is out in the world, our experiences are our religion. I believe we all carry a piece of divinity inside us(soul, spirit, ect.) and that is the one factor that unites us all, human, animal, plant, earth, water, sky, we are all connected to the universe through divine cosmic energy! I believe in Karma & cause and effect. I have sworn to living vegetarian because of these beliefs. I'm trying practice and cultivate my compassion and spirituality.

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I have been a member for over a year now and have hosted many wonderful traveler here in long beach. I have also surfed in the bay area and Hawaii. Couchsurfing has been a great medium to make connections that I would never dream of. The friendships I have made here have really been life changing. I will continue to host travelers when possible, and I plan on doing allot more surfing very soon.

I have hosted about a dozen people in Long Beach since April of 2013
surfed around the bay area oct 2013
surfed through Oahu, Hawaii feb 2014

Interests

yoga and travelling of coarse, I draw, paint, tattoo and pretty much any thing that is visual art. I play guitar, love all types of music. Listening to music is a must in my life, I have to always have good feel/vibe music playing 24/7. I'm also an earth sign, I love being surrounded by nature and admiring the majestic beauty that only God can create. I'm very social and love people, we are what makes this life worth living, sharing the human experience with one another. Family is very important to me, I love spending time with mi familia. I'm Bilingual english/spanish. There are so many things I could describe here, I'm a normal guy with normal interest, sports, concerts, cars, electronics, bbq's, hanging out, staying home, vegging out,going out to movies, dinner, dancing, anything fun.

Music, Movies, and Books

ok, here's the section were i list really cool indie films no one's ever heard of,, but truth is i don't watch really cool indie films. haha
but i like watching comedies,, super troopes, biodome, bill n ted, half baked,
action, rambo was awesome when we were kids :)
sci fi, star wars, aliens (i'm a big fan of H.R. giger) and pretty much anything Good. I love Quintin Tarentino films,
as far as music,, if it sounds good to my ears, i like it, from samba to jazz, hip hop to rock, soul to chamber music. Music totally inriches my live. I'm a big reggae lover, you could never have a bad day with reggae as your sound track

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

watching the sunsets and sunrises of the grand canyon is just an awe inspiring, soul shaking experience, been back several times, will return again. The Duomo cathedral in Milan was breathtaking, it literally glows with pride.

Teach, Learn, Share

The power of attraction! I have been implementing that into my life recently. We were put on this earth to enjoy the bounties of the universe, all we have to do is ask. I give off good vibrations, so i receive good bounties. i am not wealthy, but my life is very rich and blessed. I am surrounded by great positive people. My family, friends, clients, all support and inspire me to better myself and fulfill my ambitions.. So imagine what you want out of your life, visualize it in detail, let your mind's eye create that image of your life's desires,, extend positive vibrations from with in you out into the universe,, and pay attention as the universe unfolds itself to you and presents you with the opportunities to create and reach your goals..
