Why I’m on Couchsurfing

New adventures, new people... Just for the fun of it :)

Interests

I like doing a lot of things on my free time, trying to learn from everything and have fun while I do it .
Basketball - playing since I can remember... Ball is love, ball is life
Languages - I love to listen to foreign languages and I want to learn as many as I can (or just 10), for now I have 4.5... I'll let you know how I'm coming along :D
Salsa dancing - I started to dance while I was studying in the university and the rest is history. Love the music, love the movement, love the people
Scuba diving - doing it for the adrenaline since I'm a really shitty swimmer, enjoying every moment under the sea
Working out - gotta stay sane in this crazy world :) (and it helps me to stay fit too)
Bouldering - the latest hobby I picked up, climbing on walls seems reasonable now
Eating, drinking beer - I enjoy good food and good beers, trying to make it a part of my every trip
Music - because life is better with background music
Traveling - isn't it what it's all about? :D

Music, Movies, and Books

I can listen to almost anything, depends on my mood
Mostly I like to relax with my music so I really love Reggae, R&B, Soul, Blues etc.
I also enjoy Hip Hop because that's what I grew up on
And of course Latin music, because you can't be a salsa dancer without loving the music
I'm always looking for new music to hear and expand my favorites

As of movies, I watched too many to count, got a lot of great ones that I like so I'm sure we can find a movie to talk about :)

I read mainly non-fiction books, trying to expand my horizons and apply things I learn to life. From time to time I sneak in a novel, usually in a different language so I can keep my languages fresh in my head

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

- I've finished a diving course without knowing how to swim :O
- I've walked Camino de Santiago with my 7 month old son :)
