Hey,
my name is Leon and y I am 22 years old. I am german and currently I am studying antropology and geography.
In my freetime I like to go for walks in the nature, go hiking, listening music, playing guitar or just relax with my friends.
But since I started traveling a few years ago things changed a lot and I started to fell in love with getting to know other cultures. I like it a lot to just get to know new people and share Moments, learn new stuff or just make some new friends. This cultural and personal Exchange is now part of me and I would like doing more experiences.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

When I started traveling I stayed a lot with friends and locals. I learned the diference that it makes living with locals and I started appreciating it. I just like the Perspektive that it gives, the closer look on cultures and their people. I think we all grow with experiences like that and conect each other on a way better level that tourism isnt able to create. Thats why I like Couchsurfing so much.

Music, Movies, and Books

I pretty much listen to all kinds of music and I love it to hear it live, like on concerts or festivals. For my daily routine I personally hear a lot of rock, latin rock, raggaeton and metal but I like to get to know music or discuss about my music preference :)

On movies and books its almost the same: I like everything. I like to Read a lot and I enjoy relaxing movie evenings. I read and watch almost all Kind of genres apart of horror movies and I like it if people have new suggestions so that I can get to know some more stuff.
For my own I read and watch a lot of Adventure and fantasy stories...

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Once I travelled to Moscow. It was just a short stop on the way to China thats why we thought it wouldnt be necessary learning russian. We noticed our mistake when we stood in the trainstation with nothing else than the address of our hostel. We had no idea how to get there when suddenly a man started talking us in a english-german mix. He took us with him to get us to the right metro. But not enough he started to asked for people in the metro that would get out the same stop like us so we couldnt get lost. And really he found a couple that droped out with us. And they really help us with everything searching for the hostel almost one hour. We kept saying they could go but they insisted on helping us and only left us when we found the door of the hostel.
That Energy that all these unknown people used to help us impressed me a lo made me learn about how many good people are out there in the whole world.

What I Can Share with Hosts

I can share personal experiences and skills with the people. So feel free to ask and we can share some cool things together. I like to cook with people, I can play the guitar or if you want I can try my best to teach you something of the languages I know.
