To experience as much as of this weird and wonderful planet as I can before I die. I'm a firm believer in pushing boundaries and jumping out of the proverbial comfort zone - as a means of self development and ..... because it's a laugh!

ABOUT ME

I'd best describe myself as fun, energetic and highly respectful type of guy who is very laid back - I try not to take myself and life to seriously (whats the point of that?). I enjoy meeting new people from all walks of life; sharing thoughts, ideas and skills along the way. I'm a huge fan of comedy - Chappelle, Louis CK and George Carlin are among my favourites. It's been a dream of mine to one day get up on stage and perform some stand up - Bucket list dreams!

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

To meet some cool, genuine and down to Earth people who not only can lend me a couch to sleep on, but can share their knowledge, their experiences, their views on life with me and vice versa.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Spent 3 months living in a jungle in Malaysia.

Alongside 10 other international volunteers, I spent 3 months living / working as a helper at a jungle-based resort. This unforgettable back-to-basics experience taught me a great deal about Malay culture and how to be self sufficient in a totally new environment.

Every morning we would wake up to the sound of bird singing and monkeys howling - catching the occasional glimpse of them swinging from the tall trees - insane!

Catching, killing and preparing a chicken with my bare hands. In my opinion it actually tastes 10x better too. That's an experience i'll never forget.

What I Can Share with Hosts

My silly brand of sarcastic humor/ comedy, African accent impressions and Denzel Washington one liners.

I can also share whatever inside my travel suitcase - sometimes there's international beers, souvenirs, British tea bags, chocolate ... Who knows!?
