ABOUT ME

I like thunderstorms, the colors purple and green, and wearing socks. I prefer cheap red wine, dark chocolate, and I can eat my weight in chips and salsa. I like to take naps, I'm a good cook, and I enjoy going to the movies. I prefer to listen rock'n'roll, blues/jazz, and the golden oldies.

PHILOSOPHY

I pretty much adhere to the usual cliches: Live life to the fullest, with no (or maybe just a few) regrets, while often stopping to smell the roses. I try as best as I can not to become a cynic, to aim to do something worthwhile with my life that would help others, and to hold on to my integrity.

Interests

History, politics/current events, my latest television obsession, cooking and baking, putting Tabasco on virtually anything I eat, watching youtube videos of old movie trailers, buying travel guidebooks, spending too much money on hot chocolate, going on walks around town, learning languages, taking naps, and spending too much time on Tumblr and fanfiction.net

Music, Movies, and Books

TV: Battlestar Galactica, Doctor Who and Torchwood, Glee, Leverage, Firefly, Dollhouse.
Books: I read too much history and politics, but when I read for pleasure it usually ends up being romance novels or classics.
Movies: Quills, The History Boys, the Big Easy, A Very Long Engagement
Music: U2, early Kings of Leon, various Blues, Jazz, classic Rock'n'Roll, and Golden Oldies songs.
