Hi all!
I'm an easy going, considerative fella with a positive attitude and a passion for being spontaneous and impulsive (friends also accuse me of being geeky).
I like going out at night (although I'm not too fond of clubs) and meeting new people as much as I like staying in, relaxing and having a movie marathon.

I've been living and working in hostels in Queenstown for 5 consecutive months now, so I speak from experience when I say that I'm good with new people (and with cleaning...). Also, I don't expect a high standard of living and it doesn't take much to make me happy - a place to sleep and a decent bathroom.
In exchange for letting me stay I'm happy to help out with chores.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

After I broke my clavical in an accident involving a mechanical bull at a bar I had to stop working and had to fall back on my savings from my previous months of work. My freedom of going where ever I want whenever I want became somewhat limited, so I had to change my strategy of travelling. Talking to people in my hostel however I discovered couchsurfing and hitchhiking, which I never seriously considered before. But the more I learned, the more it intrigued me - and now I'm here!

Interests

Films, music, games, the internet, adrenaline heavy activities (bungy, rollercoaster, rafting, kart racing, paint ball, you name it), new people, new places, going out and having a beer or three or thirteen.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Survival camping in bavaria with three friends - in 1 week we built our own camp from the trees around us, drank water from the river and set up a giant swing on a bridge with climbing gear - 35m high!
