ABOUT ME

I was born in London, grew up around the south of England. I'm currently a student, and particularly interested in ancient history.

I'm a very easy-going person. I love to meet new people and to be with friends. I love discovering new places.

I'm very much into music, (prefer bars to clubs) and enjoy getting into the social-life of the new cities that I visit. That's how you meet interesting people and get a feel of new places.

I'm partial to a nice glass of wine or a cocktail, or a good old English pint. Nothing beats a well-poured Guinness.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I travel quite a lot around Europe and the wider world; and I can usually host for anyone passing through England, when I'm there.

I've had some really great experiences through Couchsurfing; I've gotten to know a load new places and fantastic people through it.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I've done some surfing around Europe in the last couple of years. I've had a great time with in France, Spain and Germany in particular. I've also done a bit of hosting which has been really good fun.

Interests

I am very much into travelling, and I grab my rucksack whenever I have a spare week, and see where I can get to. Also I enjoy being with friends, sharing a meal and discussing over drinks (preferably by the fireplace).

I play a bit of very light sport. I love watching tennis, but I'm not that talented at playing it. Wimbledon is a big event in my calendar.

I really love music and the culture around it. I've played in a lot of groups since i was young.

Music, Movies, and Books

I'm particularly into old cinema: a lot of the 20th century English comedies are really great fun. I'm also a huge fan of French nouvelle vague cinema.

I listen to a lot of blues, both from America and elsewhere in the world. I'm also a big fan of classical music to relax to, and to play.

I used to read a lot of novels although I don't have so much time for that anymore. Coetzee is one of my only favorite contemporary writers although he frustrates me.
