I'm a young renewable energy engineer from Rome, working in sustainability and decarbonization, trying to do my part with the challenges we are facing.
I'm very passionate about cultural exchanges, sciences, cuisine, and much more!
I'm very sociable and easy going, curious and eager to meet people to exchange stories and perspectives.
I've lived in several countries and I am currently based in Rome, but I'm undertaking an adventure backapacking trip through the Balkans, to discover those beautiful landscapes, people and cultures.

Por que estou no Couchsurfing?

I think Couchsurfing is a great way to meet interesting people, and enjoy solo travels more, while effectively learning about the local culture (or showing places while in my own city). 🌎
Only people who live in the place can give you such great insights about the vibe, the culture and hidden spots. They can let you live, and not just travel in, the place, which is something I wish to do anytime I go anywhere :)

Interesses

I am really curious in general and I try always to learn new things wherever I go and whatever I do; I am quite passionate about food, and I think it is a great mean to share your culture and learn about others'. I believe that reading book and socializing are two ways of learning (different) things, and I love to do that; reading novels but also, when I have time, books about other fields, to try to expand my knowledge (and so antropology, history, social sciences... but only a few really, don't get too excited ;) ).

Músicas, Filmes e Livros

I believe favorite books, etc. vary depending on the period of your life; at least, this is what happens to me. Some books I've really liked in the past include Hermann Hesse's "Narcissus and Goldmund", but also Grossman's "Someone to Run With" and Tolkien's "The Hobbit". Movies include "The Lord of the Rings", "Inception", "I love Radio Rock", and many others. I listen to many different genres of music, from classic to psychedelic or classic Rock, to Musicals and movie soundtracks; artists like Queen, Pink Floyd, Donizzetti, The Beatles, Beethoven, Journey, Ennio Morricone, Hans Zimmer &co. My favorite musicals are "Les Miserables" and "The Phantom of the Opera".

I can teach something of the languages I know (Italian, English, Portuguese), and of course about my culture.
I could teach the secrets of a good pasta or how to make Italian food in general. I would love to know how to cook some typical dish from your own country!

I don't want to be repetitive (I know I am anyways) so, a part from the things above mentioned in the learning/sharing session and an Italian dinner, well, I am always keen to converse about "actuality", news, politics, my life, cultures, and anything else really... I also consider myself a good listener (otherwise there could never be good conversation!)
