About Me

Hello! I'm Leo, and I'm happy that you're visiting my profile. I'm an open-minded and adventurous person who enjoys meeting new people and exploring different countries. With my language skills in German, English, Spanish, and Italian, I feel at home in many parts of the world. Currently, I'm working on improving my French and Ukrainian because I believe that language is the key to cultures and people's hearts.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

Couchsurfing, to me, is not just a means of finding a place to stay while traveling, it allows me to break away from the typical tourist experience and immerse myself in the local culture. Staying with locals gives me insights into their way of life that I could never get from a hotel room. I get to see the world through their eyes, share meals, and engage in conversations that transcend guidebooks. Additionally it is an excellent opportunity for personal growth. It challenges me to step out of my comfort zone, adapt to new environments, and learn from the diverse perspectives I encounter. It fosters a sense of trust and community that is rare in today's world.

Music, Movies, and Books

I'm a techno music lover with a penchant for exploring abandoned places. "Superbad" is my go-to comedy for a good laugh, but my favorite would be Shutter Island. I enjoy reading biographies for inspiration but also have a taste for the darker psychological novels like the Hannibal series.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Climbing Machu Picchu was an awe-inspiring adventure. As I walked on the ancient path, surrounded by lush greenery and misty peaks, I felt a profound connection to history and nature. When I finally reached the summit and saw the breathtaking Inca citadel emerge from the clouds, it was a moment I'll never forget – a perfect blend of wonder and accomplishment.

Teach, Learn, Share

Besides my passion for languages, I'm also a sports enthusiast. Whether it's jogging through a new neighborhood, playing any ball game or hiking in the mountains, I'm always on the lookout for new athletic challenges and adventures. I firmly believe that sports are a fantastic way to connect with people and explore the world.
Another one of my passions is cooking. I love preparing dishes from around the world (especially italy) and discovering new flavors. If you're up for a culinary adventure, I'm more than happy to join in!

What I Can Share with Hosts

I'm an open for new experiences and I enjoy making new friends and exploring the world alongside others. If you're looking for an open-minded and versatile Couchsurfing guest who enjoys learning new languages, engaging in sports, whipping up delicious meals, and embracing adventure, then I look forward to hearing from you.
