About Me
Not hosting anymore because now I share the house with a person who has a different vision than me and unfortunately does not feel confortable with hosting.
| Quick Summary |
Religion: Umbanda
Sport: Ultimate Frisbee
Work: Software Engineer (IT)
Age: 30
Astrology: Cancer ♋
| Profile Description |
Ultimate Frisbee player training weekly with my team: SoulFrisbee and willing to play as many tournaments as I can, inside and outside Brazil.
Medium (it's like a priest) at an Umbanda (a spiritualist brazilian religion) temple, but I'm open minded when it comes to religions and don't have the mainstream mindset of "my religion is better than others" or "people who have a religion are better than people who don't have it". I believe it's possible to have spirituality even without religion.
I Iove to practice sports and to go dance at some party, but I also like to stay at home to do stuff like playing games or waching movies.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
- as a Host: to meet new people and have the oportunity to travel through other people' trips when I am not allowed to do my own trip because I have to work. When you host someone, you learn a little bit not only about the country of the person, but also about the experiences that the person is living during the trip.
- as a Traveler: to meet new people and have the opportunity to enjoy the place where I'm visiting with locals, because I think we lose a lot os experiences around local culture when we stay in hotels and go only to turistic places.
Interests
Partying, playing, sports and spirituality are the stuff I usually do. But I challenge you to present me something I never do and maybe I have never done. Open minded, I like to discover the particular inner world that each person carries.
- partying
- drinking
- sports
- spirituality
Music, Movies, and Books
I'm very easy to please when talking about music, books and movies. I have some preferences, but no restrictions.
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
Maybe traveling to another continent to play a tournament without sponsorship is quite amazing (:
In 2018 I made my first trip alone: a 1-month-backpacking around Europe motivated by Windmill, my first International tournament (it happened in Amsterdam - from 22 to 24 of Junr).
In 2019 I made another international trip because of the sport: to play Ultimate Po! (it happened in Santiago, Chile - 23 and 24 of February). A one-weekend trip that I made just to play the tournament, since I had to work normally Friday and Monday.
Teach, Learn, Share
I can teach you a little bit about Ultimate Frisbee and talk about my spirituality. Also, I love shimeji and can teach a nice trick to make it even better (:
What I Can Share with Hosts
Good company, funny moments at parties (I can really liven up a party when I'm dancing), frisbee hints, help with house tasks, culture/experiences exchange, maybe talk a little bit about my spiritual life, if the host is interested (:
