Hey, my name is Leonardo Medeiros, I’m from Brazil, specifically Rio!! I’m a Carioca “da gema” how we used to say in Brazil, So I was born and raised in RIO. Travel around the world ia a big dream for me, and I love be able to realize this dream.
Now I am working like a volunteer in a camp summer in the USA for kids with special I needs, and after this camp c I going g to my first trip to Europe and I would like very much have some places to stay and meet and make new friends c to show me more about some cities and no too much touristics things (and expansives haha)
I’m a student from Ocean and Naval Engineering in my city, in my 4th year. I am always studying and planning about my future. I love go to the beach, and play some sports, like volleyball and swimming. Others sports is better I I just watch hahaha.
Open mind, no prejudice always!! Love the different and the new. I unfortunately don’t cook very well, but I’m able to taste and help in everything. I also love animals, any type!! I don’t smoke but don’t have problems about it.
Just a simple guy that don’t cares about luxury and like enjoy life by the best way: improving and discovering. Love parties, just call me that I’ll enjoy and also love “light’ events, just like visit museums and go out to drink or eat and talk about life and things.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

Couchsurfing for me is an amazing tool where people can be together with distint ideologies and ways of life. And this exchange of culture and habits is what excite me and move me. Create and cultural integration is what I’m looking for and I feel that in couchsurfing this can be possible.

Music, Movies, and Books

All genres of music that can give me the opportunity to dance and enjoy the moment with friend or alone. In special, Brazilian music, (forro, funk, samba and sub-genres (I Can show a little bit about it) and electronic music. Pop and Rock also are good ways to enjoy!!

I’m don’t have so much time to read, but Always that I can I try find lectures about spirituality (and fiction to distract the mind). Also I love read about curiosities and history

And talking about movies… I’m not the biggest movies fan. But I like to enjoy always that I can, specially with company. But my biggest interest is about documentaries (history, nature, biolife and etc)

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Accept work like a volunteer in a physician museum to kids for a time was an amazing thing that I did in my life. BE in contact with different kids and see how amazing they are was so good to me and I feel very proud for be helping them.
