One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

participated assisting in the 23rd catholic world youth day (sydney australia) 15 july 2008 as usher, mandarin translator, food service coordinator
was the first catholic world youth day event ever to be held in australia
first time i saw a glimpse of the pope benedict
assisted international youth pilgrims from 200 different nationals in ushering to designated destinations stations
food distribution logistics
met some friends dutch, korean, chinese, german pilgrims along the way
memorable event during end of schedule night time, i eventually ended up camped out in the camping ground at night time with the koreans tent
because i couldn't manage to commute to the fellow aussies camp site due to massive people overcrowding congestion
great volunteer contribution experience for such a significant event
