Hello! Hola! I'm an English as a Foreign Language teacher from San José, Costa Rica, but I’m currently living in Monteverde. I love traveling and sightseeing. I particularly love visiting historical and cultural sites, trying new food and learning languages. I like meeting people from around the world. My friends would describe me as open-minded and adventurous. I enjoy spending time chatting and sharing stories with other people. I'm a true believer that you can learn more from people that from the TV or a book. I'm sure everyone in the world pretty much wants the same thing: live life to the fullest! I prefer to host solo travelers because I only have a spear room/bedroom.

I enjoy nature, Netflix, photography/Instagramming, and arts -going to museums, galleries, theater, dance, etc. I can't say I have a favorite movie, but I like independent films (any country), dramas, comedies and musicals. I'm a fan of music. Period.

I've been a translator, an Uber driver, a manager at a multinational company and a language teacher on a cruise ship! I have studied in France and in the USA I've worked in China and Turkey. I've ridden the biggest roller coaster in the world; I circumnavigated the world for 3.5 months teaching English and Spanish to Japanese students on a boat and I've eaten incredible food from 5-star restaurants to markets!

I can share a great conversation over a cup of Costa Rican coffee or tea! We can go grab a bite or have dinner together. On occasion, I may be able to give you a ride to town or back to my place. We can share amazing sunsets from up here!
