Hi! My name is Leonel,

I'm 25 years old and I live in Berlin.
I’m going to visit two friends on their road trip in the US and will join them on their last leg from Chicago to NYC.

I am a curious mind. I reflect a lot about myself and my environment.
I study politics and sociology and I work as a freelance journalist and tutor.
I speak German, English, French and a little bit of Spanish.
I spent the past year living and studying in a small city in the UK, improving my English and surfing skills.

I love surfing, playing Basketball and other sports. I take pictures with my camera as a hobby but also did assignments in the past.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I think couchsurfing is a great way to get to know the locals, their culture and their way of life. It is a way more interesting but maybe also challenging experience in comparison to staying in a hotel or hostel.
