About Me
Hello everybody,
I am a 24 year old German, but I have lived in Austria for most of my life. I am currently studying German and History in order to become a teacher. I have also been studying Japanese studies since last Octobre in order to learn Japanese.
I am a very communicative and social person, who enjoys conversation a lot. Therefore, when travelling, I love meeting local people and getting to know foreign culture, while making friends at the same time. I would consider myself very polite and open-minded.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
I signed up because I am travelling to Japan this Summer. Since I am travelling alone, I would love to meet some people there, with whom I can hang out and share conversation and stories, since I want to experience as much of this foreign culture as possible.

Music, Movies, and Books
Music:
I listen to all kinds of music, but I mostly enjoy Jazz as well as Hip-Hop/Rap. I play the double bass and used to play in a band.
Movies:
I enjoy watching movies and going to the cinema with friends, but rarely get around to watching them by myself. I've love Short films and going to filmfestivals.
I dont really have favorite movies. Some movies i really enjoyed recently are: Once upon a time in hollywood, One Night in Bruges, Train to Busan and Shoplifters.
Books:
I read a lot, but since I am going to be a German teacher, it's mostly German literature.
Some international favorites are: Brave New World, The Book Thief, War and Peace, The Lord of the Rings, The Plague
I also love reading poetry.
