I moved to The Netherlands a few months ago after finishing my degree in journalism in Ireland. I love travelling and meeting new people from all over the world. I'm currently working in an Irish bar in The Hague to fit in with the Irish stereotype!

My first love is travelling and I'm currently trying to save up to do some more but until then I want to meet new people from all over the world. I love discovering new places and cities and occasionally I like to write about it to help keep me active with my degree.

Music, Movies, and Books

My favourite music at the moment includes: Alt-j, Wallis Bird, Hozier, Little Green Cars, Paul Kalkbrenner, Florence & The Machine, Lana Del Rey..... and the list goes on and on :)

I love TV series and easily get addicted to them. I am going through a serious English detectives phase! But my all time favourite series include: Dexter, Parks and Recreation, Downton Abbey, Game of Thrones, Luther, The Fall and I could go on but....

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I don't know what constitutes amazing here but one thing that I find nice is that I've managed to move countries a few times and have figured out how to survive which isn't exactly amazing but it's the little achievements that I find important!

As a native English speaker I'm open to helping others improve their English.

I know enough Dutch to get by at the moment in The Netherlands but I am starting a course this month to help me get on my way to being a fluent speaker so anyone that may be able to help me with this would be great! I love the Netherlands and learning the language will help it really making it my home.
