Hello :)

We are Leonie (21) and Tim (22), a couple from Germany and currently traveling the world during our gap year between bachelors and masters. Leonie studied Biomedicine and Tim completed his bachelor in Business Administration.

We started our backpacking adventure in Peru and after exploring some countries in South and Central America we are now visiting the beautiful countries of South-East Asia.
We love to use the day to see as much as possible and get together and socialize in the evening. However, if you are busy we are fine on our own as well.

Warum ich bei Couchsurfing bin

We really love to learn about new cultures and get to know their traditions and habits. We believe that couchsurfing might be one of the best opportunities to have an authentic interaction with great people from different countries and save some money along the way.

Musik, Filme und Bücher

Unfortunately, we both don’t have the same taste in music but we can agree on some german new wave artists. Besides that, Leonie likes Indie and slow pop while Tim is more into modern US hip hop/rap.
When there is time, Leonie enjoys to read, mostly romance and fantasy novels.

Eine tolle Erfahrung, die ich gemacht habe

One of the most amazing experiences we have had so far was hiking the volcano Acatenango in Guatemala. From there we were able to see the active volcano Fuego erupt every few minutes, and at night we even saw the lava explosions. This was truely amazing.
