Hello dear couchsurfers :)
My name is Leonie, I'm 27 years old and I live in Freiburg, a small city in the Black Forest in Southern Germany.
I'm a student and in my free time I enjoy doing sports such as bouldering or yoga and generally just being outdoors for hiking, camping, snowboarding, etc.
When being in cities, I love trying out restaurants, cafés and bars, going to art museums, listening to live music and also just wandering around.
I'm currently doing a semester abroad in Warsaw - excited to explore the city, meet new people and also travel in the region.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

Couchsurfing is a great way to meet people, explore new places and get an authentic insight in the life of others.
Unfortunately, I can't host couchsurfers at the moment, because my apartment is too small, but I hope to be able to give back some of the hospitality that I'm receiving one day :)

Music, Movies, and Books

I love reading (my resolution for 2024 is to read at least one book per month). My top 3 books ever would probably be Les Miserables, The Second Coming and The Eighth Life.
In my daily life, I am not watching so much TV, but I can definitely enjoy watching a movie or going to the cinema, especially with friends.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

One of my favorite memories is a hike that I did in the Swiss Alps: I was sleeping outside, there was still some snow, I made a bonfire in the evening and had the best view on two lakes one one side and high mountain peaks on the other side.

I'm happy to share some German language skills and local recepies, if you are interested.

What I Can Share with Hosts

I love cooking, so I'm always up for making a dinner. Or helping with cooking (weirdly I really enjoy cutting veggies).
Otherwise, I'm generally easy going and can adapt to whatever your plans are - I'm happy to hang out and do things together, but I can also do my own thing.
