Overview
About Me
Sorry guys, studying abroad right now. Really cannot host. Good luck and hope to meet you another time maybe at another place! :)
CURRENT MISSION
LIVE the life you love, and love the life you live!
ABOUT ME
My name is Leonie, studying medicine. I love to go travelling, to get to know new cultures and their people, to experience different metalities and life styles.
I've stayed in the US in my 11th grade with a host family where I experienced hostpitality in a way I had never imagined before. After I graduated from High School, I've been travelling through Australia & New Zealand for a couple of months, enjoyed life, Australia's vastness and diversity and the easy going attitude of most Aussies to the full. Last september, I loved experiencing Canada's eastern cities and environments and met some wonderful people via couch surfing :)
PHILOSOPHY
Live the life you love and love the life you live!
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING
Honestly, nobody has ever surfed our couch, which I assume is because of our GREAT location in Homburg :D However, the community is full of amazing people that were not only willing to share their couches but also their stories during my travels which I find wonderful! Thus, my flat mates and I are very happy to return the hospitability we've experienced, meet nice people and show you around.
COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE
When first coming to Mannheim, I was hosted by a really nice girl until I found a place to stay which was a really good experience. She became one of my best friends. Apart from that, my flat mates and I hosted a hand full of people in our apartment - through other webpages though.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
One of the most amazing things I've done during my life was going to Ghana for a medical intership in April 2014. The deviating perception of life and community in contrast to the European one was impressive and fascinating and lead to the fact that I've always felt warmly welcome and supported. Really a wonderful and enlarging trip.
Teach, Learn, Share
Anyone who succeeds to be her/himself because that's what makes everyone special and intersting.
Specifically, I love being involed in outside activities, cultural events and going out when in a new place. So that's something I enjoy sharing at my place as well.
Moreover, I love nice cooking sessions combined with some good wine, music, conversation and good laughs.
What I Can Share with Hosts
Cooking, good talks, going out, Yoga, Capoeira... :)
