About Me

It's really hard to describe myself, but I will try :)
I started to discover other cultures when I was 5 years old, because my parents moved to the USA with my brother and me. I went to school there from first to fourth grade and had the wonderful chance to learn english really fast!
I loved living near the beach and the nature in Massachusetts.
Back in Germany it was really hard for me to get used to the german language and the different culture and school types. But now I've learned to love Germany and live in Hannover :)
My parents have always been travellers, so I got to go to interesting places every year. I was in France, sailing in Croatia, Norway, Sweden, ...
After finishing school I did a "Freiwilliges Soziales Jahr" (a year working in the social branch with only a little pocket money) in a community producing their own food, where I lived and worked with mentally disabled people.
After that I decided to move away from home, so I could have a chance to live in a bigger city and to meet interesting new people and to live on my own.
In Dresden I did my schooling as an occupational therapist and decided to study afterwards..
So now I am in Hannover, studying therapeutic Pedagogy :)
I am married to a wonderful iranian man, so I get to go to Iran (mostly Tehran) alot :)

PHILOSOPHY:

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I love meeting people from other countries and I think it is very important to have the travelling input of people living in the country when you go somewhere. SO Couchsurfing brings it all together!

We also have a biweekly Werewolf group in Hannover, where we play and try to manipulate and kill each other :)
