HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

Mainly through surfing and taking part in events(dance, language exchange, music events). Have surfed quite a bit in The Hague the last months, is has all been amazing. I would love to host in the future.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

After years of knowing about this I started 2011 with a few surfs after CS meetings - culture night in Breda, Maastricht and Den Haag. Beside one weird experience I've met so many great people, heard fab music, had fun and good conversation.

Further I enjoy cooking and eating new things, i pick ideas from Nigella and even used some recipes, but am usually really bad at following them - I like to create my own with what's available.

Film - I'm loving it loads (Black Swan, King's Speech, Australia,Frida, Creation, Babel, Eternal sunshine, truman show,last king of scotland, certified copy) - European/cult films in general.
Books - non-fiction (ayaan hirsi ali, obama and touching the void) - creative e.g. The Other Hand/Little Bee (chris cleave) The Help - girly - Me&Mr Darcy.

I can share experiences of sports and volunteering/ international development.
If anybody keen I can advise on training e.g. running. I'm a qualified PE teacher too.
I would love to learn more about food and great recipes, latin dancing, anything with music, theatre, film, business management and languages....german, spanish, french.
Also trying stuff from the CS alternative ways of living group sometimes....keen to learn more on eco-frienly living the cheap and fun way.
