I am a full time stay-at-home single dad with an 4 years old adopted son who has Autism Spectrum Disorder. My son is smart in academy stuff but he always shy away from interaction with strangers. It is my wish to bring him out of his comfort zone to show him there are many interesting people and sights around the world.. hopefully, that will improve his sociability, his stamina and confidence.

我为什么加入 Couchsurfing

For myself, I enjoy meeting up with interesting people from around the world, learn about their pursuits in life and love to see that passionate spark in their eyes, that provides me with a lot of motivation to want to go our there to see the world and immersed in local cultures..

Now as a parent of a kid with Autism spectrum disorder, it's my dream to bring him out of his little world and comfort zone, and show him what a wonderful and interesting world at large out there and open him up the world of endless possibilities. I will also love to bring him along to do homestays (couchsurfing) wherever we go, as this is one of the best ways to meet wonderful people around the world, and that will certainly be a good way to improve on his sociability and confident, and provide the much-needed positiveness to grow into an independent adult

Whenever we are back home in Singapore, we will gladly return the favor of the wonderful hosts we met on our trips, by welcoming other travelers to put up in my flat on my couch. I will be very happy to show them some interesting facts, places of interest and local food with them...

We are particular keen to host families with kids, and it will be even more wonderful if the guest can host me and my son in return at their home country some time in the future :)

loves nature and animal, cultural stuff, trying out new food and cooking too, meeting nice and kind people.. love to explore local lifestyles, gardening, parenting (not one who is into shopping, clubbing)
