Hi everyone, my name is Leon, I am 23 years old and from Germany.

I did two years of work & travel in New Zealand and Australia which is where I met a bunch of people from Sweden and Norway and now I finally have the chance to see the country for myself.

For the last two years I have been working as a pastry chef in Marseille, followed by a year in Paris and half a year in Toronto, Canada.

To get to know new people that are open-minded and keen on making new friends!

And of course, while hostels are fun, getting to know the 'locals' is more fun!

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Gone swimming at 4am with a bunch of random friendly aussies that invited us to join them at their BBQ! It was very cold and dark.
