Overview
About Me
I like to travel to get to know people and cultures from around the world!
I am from Brazil, and I lived in London for the last 3 years. Also, I lived in the USA, Argentina and China for some study, work and travel experience.
Since my childhood, I was dreaming about travelling the world. Nowadays, after travelling for while I thought that I was going to stop, but now I feel that I still need to travel even more!!! Maybe I became a travel-addictive.
I've stayed in very nice and fancy hotels while working in the international education industry, but I prefer to stay in hostels, with friends that are living around the world or with local people. Knowing new people, having nice conversations, talking about life and making new friends, is all we need while travelling around.
I love to experience how life is in many cities around the world. The extreme difference (in cultural lifestyle), the better for me. I don't smoke and I don't like or use any kind of drugs, but I do like beers and I love white wines.
As you may notice, I don't have any recommendations yet, because this will be my first time using CS, although I am registered since 2011. I just started to proper use it now in June 2018 for the World Cup in Russia and for the trips that I will be doing in next 6 months through Portugal, Spain, France, England, UAE, India and Australia (all of them working remotely).
Also, I am a very flexible/adaptable person. If the hosts are quite, I can be quite as well. If you like parties, I like partying; if you are a family person/host, I am also a family guy. So for any type of situation, I am ready to face it. The only thing I don't like "heavy rocking roll style" or "very different" people. But if you are an artist, hippie or business person, I am happy to talk to you.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
I will be travelling and working remotely for the next 6 months (until December 2018). So I think this is a nice way to save money while knowing and meeting new people. Also, having fun sometimes and living and learning with the locals.
It is a nice way as well to understand about yourself; to understand a little bit about the world; to improve your personal and communication skills, and to respect the difference between people, religion, beliefs and cultures.
For most of the days (if it is a week day), I will be working from a local cafe or from a co-hub office. I just need a safe place to stay for few days in each city and interesting people to have share travel, ideas and life experiences during the evening. All I need is a couch or room that I can sleep over 2 or 3 nights. Then I will be moving to another city or country.
I want to know as many people as possible. Sometimes we can do some video interviews about the local culture so I can post on social media later on. The idea behind is to create a travel documentary.
I will give a try to Couchsurfing this whole trip, as I never tried before, and hope and I think I will enjoy it.
