Chi sono
CURRENT MISSION
Try and take over the world.
ABOUT ME
I enjoy music, literature and other arts. I study Shakespeare. I like outdoors activities.
PHILOSOPHY
I believe in sincerity and frankness. I don't try to please all, and feel no urge to pretend I like someone. But that doesn't mean of course I'm rude, and usually I get along just fine. I believe one must seek more than the ordinary commonplace experience, but I don't find myself anything special for deviating from the norm.
Perché sono iscritto su Couchsurfing
HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING
I enjoy meeting people and knowing a bit of their experiences, and I would surely like having people from around the world staying here so I can show some of our culture outside the old clichés. That's why I'm here (as well as for being received by nice local people when going abroad, of course).
COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE
Just a beginner for the time being.
Interessi
I am extremely fond of music, from rock to jazz to avant garde, and I play the drums and a bit of guitar. I like literature a lot, with a special taste for Shakespeare, and I write short stories (in portuguese). I like theater too, but I don't go all that often. I like cycling and jogging to try to keep fit, though my genes don't help much.

Musica, film e libri
I like Woody Allen, Terry Gilliam and Monty Python (a lot), Coen Brothers, Charlie Kauffman, Tarantino, David Lynch, Bergman, Fassbinder, Herzog, Fellini, many more...
I still like rock music, classic 70's like Sabbath, Zeppelin and Floyd, progressive bands like King Crimson, Genesis and Yes, avant-prog like Henry Cow or Univers Zéro. But I grew fond of jazz, from Armstrong, Miles, Mingus, Trane to the divas, to fusion and to avantgarde stuff like Peter Brotzmann or John Zorn. Brasilian music too, mostly instrumental, like Hermeto Paschoal. Recently I'm interested in avangarde composers such as Boulez or Berio, but I also enjoy classical stuff.
I like Shakespeare a lot, but also Bukowski, Orwell, Machado de Assis and Guimarães Rosa (both brazilian), many french writers like Balzac, Voltaire, or Le Clézio in our days, Fernando Pessoa (portuguese) and many more...
Una cosa incredibile che ho fatto
Trekking through the Sacred Valley in the Peruvian Andes. A Zorn/Frith and a Peter Brötzmann Chicago Tentet concerts in the same festival.
Insegna, impara, condividi
I can teach portuguese and drums.
