About Me

I served in the Singapore military as an Air Force Engineer for 5 years. Hence I have the discipline and a sense of responsibility instilled within me. Currently working in online marketing field, which I just need my laptop with internet accessibility to work at anywhere. A sport enthusiast that loves physical challenge. I am not afraid of getting myself into dirt. Love trekking to bring myself closer to the nature. An optimist and passionate person who has the ability and courage to learn new things in life.

Music, Movies, and Books

Music - Depending on my mood, I listen to different type of music/songs. I love songs with motivational/inspiring lyrics. Here are a few songs I love:

- I Lived by One Republic
- The Fighter by Gym Class Heroes
- On Top of The World by Imagine Dragons
- Dirty Paws by Of Monsters And Men
- Renegades by X Ambassadors
- Everybody's Someone by Brian Mcfadden (Ft Leann Rimes)
- Heal The World by Michael Jackson
- Dreamer by DeScribe (Dance For Kindness 2013 theme song)
- Try Everything by Shakira

I also love instrumental music composed by Denys Rybkin, Ludovico Einaudi and Hans Zimmer, which helps to relieve my mind when I am reading. I like piano-based music (but I have no idea how to play a piano).

Movies - Too many to list. Basically just like any normal people who would like those action-packed movies. I do love to watch motivational/inspiring movies too.

Movies like Pursuit of Happyness by Will Smith (2006) is definitely one of my top favourites. The Intouchables (2011) and 12 Years a Slave (2013) are great movies that touches my heart deeply. Here are some other movies that I personally love watching:

- Pay It Forward (2000) - By a child, using Multi Level Marketing method, who do kind acts to 3 strangers, and they will do kind acts to to another 3 persons. Repaying their received kindness forward.
- Drumline (2002) - Show-style marching bands in actions. Love those high intense competitions.
- Forrest Gump (1994) - Slow-witted guy with great optimism and overcome all odds.
- The Blind Side (2009) Homeless bump black teen (with a generously kindhearted soul) helped by a family, in return transforming their lives.
- Men of Honor (2000) - Living in the discrimination world at that time, the black guy face all odds to prove his determination. Super inspiring!

I actually dislike reading since young. Only recently when I pick up this habit of reading, and read only certain types of books. Here are a short list of books I read so far:
- Secrets of the Millionaire Mind by T. Harv Eker
- Karmic Management by Geshe Michael Roach
- Unlimited Power by Anthony Robbins
- Think & Grow Rich by Napoleon Hill
- The Monk Who Sold His Ferrari by Robin Sharma

Currently Reading:
- The 7 Habits of Highly Effective People by Stephen R. Covey

Books in my next-to-read list:
- The Millionaire Next Door by Thomas J. Stanley
- Use Your Brain for a Change by Richard Bandler

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

100km Ultramarathon.

Did I trained for it? Nope.

Then how did I completed it? Basically I took the challenge and it down into 10 sets of 10km, and set a timing of 1 hour 30 minutes per set.

Did it worked? Yup it did. The race started at 6pm in the evening and I completed it at 10am next morning. I basically walked the last 10km and enjoyed the final stretch.

This challenge taught me willpower, determination, focus, mental and physical strength of myself.

Countries I’ve Visited

Australia, China, France, Germany, Italy, Japan, Malaysia, Nepal, Switzerland, Taiwan, Thailand, United Kingdom, Viet Nam
