Saving the world!

Hi there! My name is Leo (short for Leozette), and I currently live in sunny South Africa. I spend my days working to help save the lives of animals by working for one of the largest animal protection organisations, Humane Society International.

In my spare time, I like to play around in the kitchen - developing vegan recipes and hosting dinner parties for friends. From all the cooking and recipe blogging, I published my very own vegan cookbook "The South African Vegan Cookbook" last year.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

Me hosting: Cape Town is gorgeous and has many hidden gems - by hosting couch-surfers I get to make new friends and experience my own city as a tourist again!

Me visiting: I recently started traveling more and realized that living in an AirBNB by myself can be quite lonely. Through couch-surfing, I would love to meet new people in new places and experience their homes as they do.
