Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I want to set up a place in my family home, in the countryside in Vojvodina, so that I can be a host.
I live in a small village, 10 minutes away from the city Zrenjanin, and 45 minutes away via car from the city Novi Sad. It is a village surrounded by fields and nature and it is a multicultural village (Serbs, Slovaks). We have the Tisa river, which belongs to the Special Nature Reservation area called Wetlands of the lower Tisa.
The river is 15-20 minutes away by bicycle from the village.

Zrenjanin is a small beautiful city, with old buildings from the Austro-Hungarian period, and one of the oldest theaters in Vojvodina. It has a Begej river passing by, and formerly it was one of the most developed industrial cities in Yugoslavia, so it's full of old authentic fabric buildings. Anyone who likes the popular TV show ''Friends'' would like to stop by, as they can drink coffee in the' Central Perk' cafe, and if you like walks in the city, Zrenjanin is a perfect place.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I don't have any Couchsurfing experience yet. Only in meet-ups and tour guides in Belgrade.

Interests

I love traveling via train. I have a couple of bicycles at home, and I enjoy going everywhere with a bicycle.

🗺 I love backpacking, camping, hosting, and visiting, friends, around, it is my fave way of traveling.

I love staying with locals, and I have never booked a hotel in my name so far.

🥂 I love having fun and going to parties, art exhibitions, concerts, and museums.

There will be a time when I will be traveling, so I won't be able to host/guide anyone.

🏼‍ I am a full-time employed, I work as a lead generation specialist for one American company.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Talked to kind strangers, even if they are old and thought the world has abandoned them. Helped people the way I can, and ones who can't speak but they talk the way we understand - animals. Volunteered. Traveled solo. Managed to stay true friends with some people for over ten years.
Went to a foreign country with 10 things in my suitcase, living with a minimum amount of money, and had the time of my life.
