About Me

If you tolerate russian aggression against my country, Ukraine, we have no common ground. They are literally killing us and destroying everything we have. And, obviously, if you are russian, stay away from my profile.

Please, read my “Why I’m on Couchsurfing” and “My Home” articles before sending me a request.

One more thing: the capital of Ukraine is called Kyiv, not Kiev.

I am just a man who wants to live his life as fully as possible.

Trying to establish myself in the musical world: singing, playing different instruments, arranging songs, producing etc.

Surprisingly, I adore travelling :) I've been to many places in my country, Ukraine. And now feel like I'm ready for trips abroad.

Hitchhiked over 10 000 km.

I used to have many hobbies: fishing, cooking, soldering, collecting coins and banknotes, reading books, doing sports etc. But now I invest almost all my free time into making my own music (and procrastinating:) )

Diving into foreign cultures is what excites me. Leaving my comfort zone is what makes me feel truly alive.

Each person I meet becomes a unique part of my social capital I'm proud of so much.

So, if you're my future guest or host, I'll be happy to share a moment with you :)

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

Hanging out / staying with locals gives a much wider view of the place I'm visiting.

Also, I love taking part in the kindness circulation all around the planet: ask if you need, share if you have.

!!! Please read the following message if you want to send a request for my modest couch :)

No offense, but I DON'T usually accept ones from guys whose SOLE purpose is to find free accommodation for few nights. I agree, staying with locals is an important part of Couchsurfing experience. But NOT the only one. Many mature Couchsurfing members write in their profiles that their house is NOT a hostel. And I totally agree with that statement.

But still, my doors are always OPEN to people who are genuinely eager for exchanging experience and culture, having endless conversations in the kitchen or just sharing positive mood. In other words, I want to feel my guest.

I love the moments when, saying goodbye to a host / guest it feels like I just watched a lovely movie. And I'm so proud of having a nice list of such ones. Hope you understand me.

I'd be glad to offer anything I can to make your staying at my place as pleasant as possible. However, I want to be sure you are the right person and I won't waste my time if I host you.

Unfortunately, when getting a new request, I'm not having live contact with a potential guest. So, text does matter!

I feel uncomfortable when dealing with a person who has an empty or almost empty profile. How am I supposed to find out who you are? Please, fill in your Couchsurfing profile before requesting to stay with me.

And also I DON'T like just copy-pasted requests. I honestly understand it's pretty difficult to come up with a personalized message for each potential host. BUT! I believe sending five nice and tasty messages works much better than spamming dozen people with "Hi, I'm coming to your city, can you host me?". Just be HONEST and tell a host why they will enjoy having time with you.

Couchsurfing is NOT A SERVICE. It is a COMMUNITY.

Respect each other. Thank you ♥️.

Music, Movies, and Books

I listen to almost everything. When I'm asked about my favorite musician / band / music style I just cannot name any: it's too many of them :)

I believe there is no good or bad style. There is what you like and what you don't like.

So I'll just list the ones I listened recently (Apr 2022):
Tember Blanche (UA),
Budka Suflera (PL),
Morphine (US),
Milky Chance (DE),
Foals (GB),
Nirvana (US),
Nothing But Thieves (GB),
twenty one pilots (US)
Димна Суміш (UA)
O.Torvald (UA)

...

I don't watch movies often. But when I do, I enjoy that.

My favorite ones:
Forrest Gump,
Fight Club,
Pulp Fiction,
Interstellar,
Inglourious Basterds,
Tenet,
Butterfly Effect

...

I've read few books.

The ones I liked are:

D. Carnegie - How To Win Friends And Influence People,
N. Hill - The Law of Success.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I quit a well-known game development company after five weeks when realized I'm a musician and not a programmer.

Can teach how to fish (surely, if you have a fishing rod for it), play guitar, speak Ukrainian.

Happy to discuss the life with good people.

Always ready to get any experience.
