About Me

CURRENT MISSION

I've been trying to keep this updated but it's impossible, I move to the next one every few weeks. I'll tell you the current one when we meet.

ABOUT ME
I'm doing a PhD thesis on contemporary nihilism and the interaction of artificial intelligence and advertising in the attention economy. I've been working for Eurail/Interrail remotely and part-time for the last 6.5 years, (hopefully) helping people travel. I've been organizing for about 4 years a psychedelic culture festival in Italy, called 7 Chakras, also in this case helping people travel, although in a slightly different way. I travel a lot myself, and lived in 6 different countries. Currently I'm split most of the year between the Netherlands, England, and Italy, where each of those activities takes place respectively. I also read a lot of fiction (have been working for a publishing house for some years) and go climbing pretty much everywhere I am.

PHILOSOPHY

I'm a cheerful nihilist. I swear it's better than it sounds.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

Because it's just good and makes this world a more interesting place to be.

Music, Movies, and Books

To be constantly updated.

Last book I really liked: Middlesex.

Last movie: Call me by your name.

Music: Everything as long as it's good (classical, jazz, bebop, indie rock, dub, acid techno, psytrance, etc. etc.)

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

The one I'm gonna do with you, although we don't remember it yet.

Teach, Learn, Share

Well I can definitely share some travel tips. I'm also told I'm a good cook, though the merit goes (of course) to my mom.

What I Can Share with Hosts

From hugs to drugs, but usually food and some nice conversations.

Countries I’ve Lived In

Colombia, England, France, Germany, Italy, Netherlands
