About Me

Hello! My name is Valerie and I'm from Ukraine:) But now I live in The Hague, Netherlands 🇳🇱
I can describe myself as an active student, friendly and probably funny person! I have a big dream to travel all over the world. So I became a scout, that gave me an opportunity to make my dream come true. I like meeting new people and find out something interesting from them 😊

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I want to meet new friends, want to know about cultures and people from another countries, I also promise to tell all the interesting things about my country and my culture. I think people should communicate, because it means that our community is developing and that's good for all of us.

Interests

I like learning history. I'm a scout. And I also teach children in my spare time, I help them to make their tasks and learn with them English.

Music, Movies, and Books

Music and books are all my life. I can't imagine my life without them. So I have a lot of favorite books, but maybe there is the one, that will stay in my heart forever and ever - this is "11.22.63" by Stephen King, that's the best book in the world for me.
What about my favorite music. It's obviously indie rock, but actually I love all the good music. If song is good, then I love it.
There is not a big list of my favorite movies and TV shows: Charlie and the Chocolate factory, The Flash, Riverdale, Harry Potter, Ameli.
But I love cartoons, and this list is really big, so I just tell that my favorite cartoon is probably Frozen. But actually it's hard to choose the one.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Hmm.. That's probably was the day when me and our scout team go up to the Hoverla mountain - the highest mountain in Ukraine. It was very hard, but we did this and now I'm so proud of myself!

What I Can Share with Hosts

I can share all the experience that I have, I can tell a joke or maybe cool historical story;) actually I just can be a good listener and a person who will be glad to see you in my country and tell you about all the traditions and cool things that we have. Or introduce you with The Hague or some other cities in Netherlands 😊
