COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

A coworker recommended this site to me. He has been all over the world and seen more than I could hope to in one lifetime and with his recommendation... here I am.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

1. Seeing the last launch of the US space program. I surprised my fiance with tickets and we got to see a meaningful piece of history. The whole experience was quite surreal and we weren't even sure there would be a launch until the last possible moment. Definitely a great experience.
2. Habitat for Humanity in Honduras. We went as a group to help build a house for a Honduran family. It was a powerful experience, especially because we worked side by side with the family which gave it a personal touch. We also got a lot of exposure to Honduran arts and culture. It was the perfect combination of natural beauty, worthwhile work, and cultural education.
