About Me

Hypersensitive and empathetic by nature, my friends describe me as a genuine person. I'm always ready to listen to other people and offer my help whenever possible. I started my professional career in the social sector, working with migrant teenagers, and I'm now planning to set up my own home-organising business. My ambition is to help people become more aware of their consumption patterns and guide them towards sensible consumption.
Today I feel that I'm closer to my values and that I can finally fulfil my potential.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

When I travel, what I'm looking for is first and foremost to meet other people, which is why, during my various trips, I've tried to get as close as possible to the locals. In India, for example, where I spent two weeks with a family, I shared their daily life and discovered their traditions and culture... and in Senegal, where I stayed with different families throughout my trip.
During these different experiences, I was always with a friend, but now I'm taking up the challenge of doing this trip on my own to discover myself in a different way.

Interests

I'm a passionate person with many interests. I'm curious about everything, so sometimes it's hard to choose or limit myself. I'm not a great sporty person, but I'm never averse to a game of badminton.
My interests are many and varied, so it's hard for me to list them all. They include TV series, nature, cultural outings, laser cutting (we'll talk about that later) and photography.
I'm always keen to discover new activities, so surprise me! so I'm ready to be surprised.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

During my stay in Senegal, I was lucky enough to discover the local dances performed in the villages before the Senegalese wrestling competitions started. It was a magical moment : when the whole atmosphere combined with the songs, dances of the wrestlers and the children, it drove me into a kind of trance. It was a memorable moment that I'll never forget.

Teach, Learn, Share

I love learning and sharing my knowledge with people and with you as well if you want it too. Although I'm more interested in organising and tidying living spaces at the moment . If you wish I'm also available to teach you a few french words or expressions

What I Can Share with Hosts

Being naturally curious, I'm interested in discovering Kiwi culture and Maori culture as well, which seems to me to be very rich. I'm fascinated by ancient customs, songs, dances, food and stories. I'd love to meet some of the ancient people and listen to their stories.

Countries I’ve Visited

Belgium, Greece, India, Italy, Netherlands, Portugal, Senegal, Spain, United Kingdom
