About Me
ABOUT ME
I'm infatuated with people who tell good stories. I also love inappropriate jokes, beer, music, iced tea, dance parties and skinny dipping.
I spend a lot of time thinking about, reading and discussing philosophy, literature, politics and aesthetics. I'm interested in fundamental problems of human experience (the kind children wonder about before they learn not to), and the apparent incommensurability of various modes of human thought and activity. I'm also awed by the world on a daily basis. And please don't be intimidated: I'm also pretty happy to just hang out, drink a beer and bullshit.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing
HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING
I've had the good fortune of finding all the hospitality I could ever ask for from total strangers during my travels. Here's hoping my luck continues, and I'd be glad to return the favor.
COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE
New to CS, but I've done a bit of traveling in my life.
Interests
I'm currently finishing my degree in history with the idea of working on non-fiction creative writing and film making, or some other creative, history-related projects. I go to school full time and I currently have two internships, one with a local museum and one with a professor at my university.
I keep a blog that includes some of the things I run across working on both family and local history: http://missourilovescompany.tumblr.com
When I'm not working, I'm probably reading, writing, cooking, watching a film, gardening, taking photographs, taking a class, taking care of my chickens, fermenting something, riding around the city on my bike, playing chess, etc.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
I think with its unique combination of down-to-earth people and natural beauty, Missouri is one of the most beautiful places in the world. But I'm also on a quest to see what else is out there.
